2 casinos robbed over the weekend
Police spokesman Sam Clemens said the first robbery took place on Saturday morning, when a man with dark clothing and a bandanna walked into Deuce's Casino at 317 N. West Ave. Clemens said the man had a gun and yelled at everyone to get on the floor as he took money from the register before leaving.
The second robbery took place on Sunday afternoon at the Rice Street Casino, when a man described as a Hispanic male in his 30s, dressed in black, entered and put on a mask. The man was armed, and the casino was empty except for the cashier. The man took money and left on foot.
